Can I display an image at its natural aspect ratio?

Display images at their natural aspect ratio
If you want an image to display at its own natural size — without being cropped to a fixed ratio — follow these steps.
Select the image layer
In the right panel, under the Size section, click on the "Lock" to unlock fixed aspect ratio (if there's a blue lock between width and height)
Set Height to Fit.
Recommended: Set Width to Fill to keep the image responsive across different screen sizes. If you'd like a specific width size, just enter a fixed number (e.g., 200px).
You can apply this to any image layer in Framer. For example, use it on thumbnail images in a blog or portfolio galleries, hero images, or any place where you want the image to display at its natural size rather than a fixed frame.
Fixed aspect ratio lock
If you see a blue lock icon between the width and height fields, the image is set to a fixed aspect ratio — locked to whatever dimensions are currently set. Click the lock to toggle it off and allow the image to resize freely.
To enforce a specific ratio (like 400×300), set your preferred dimensions first, then click the lock to re-enable it.
